Lugano can easily be reached by car as there is an extensive network of motorways linking North and South with the A2 via Gottardo-Bellinzona-Chiasso, Lugano Nord exit; follow signs to the hospital. Otherwise coming from Italy the Como-Brogeda or Varese-Gaggiolo entrance heading for Lugano-Bellinzona-Gottardo, Lugano Sud exit; follow the signs for the railway station.
